About

Johnny Golding is Director of the Research Institute for the Converging Arts & Sciences and Chair in Philosophy (Visual Arts & Communication Technologies)  at the University of Greenwich.

Research interests: Media Arts, Fractal Philosophy, Visual/Sonic Arts, Non-representational Contemporary Philosophy and translations of reality into zeros and ones.

Books include: Dirty Theory (forthcoming);  The Eight Technologies of Otherness;  Games of Truth: A blood Poetic in 7 part harmony (with 24' video);  Honour; Gramsci's Democratic Theory.  Has produced 5 editions of the international journal The Issues in Contemporary Culture & Aesthetics.  Videos include: Once upon a wormhole; I spy with my little eye; God is a Lobster and other forbidden bodies; Games of Truth.  Philosophic Installations with sound compositions by Dr Stephen Kennedy, include: The Need to Know (Law); Conversion on the Road to Damascus; The Assassination of Time (or the birth of zeta-physics);
